Mrs. Carr grew up in Onalaska, Wisconsin. She attended Martin Luther College and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2021, she accepted a call to serve at Parkland Lutheran School. Prior to serving at Parkland Lutheran School, she taught grades 1–5 for five years, served as a preschool teacher for three- and four-year-olds for one year, and worked as a part-time preschool teacher’s assistant for six years. She also serves as a coach for various PLS sports, including volleyball and basketball. Mrs. Carr is married and has four children.
