Mrs. Sundby is a Washington State-certified teacher in elementary education. A Washington native, she attended Faith Lutheran School (Tacoma, WA) and Parkland Lutheran School for elementary school and graduated from Bethel High School (Graham, WA) in 1998. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Bethany Lutheran College in 2000. After working in the business world for many years, she pursued her long-held dream of becoming a teacher and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Upon graduating, she accepted a call to teach Kindergarten at Parkland Lutheran School in 2024. She is married and has three children, all of whom are Parkland Lutheran School graduates. Pauline also serves as the adult choir director at Parkland Lutheran Church, and she and her husband help oversee the Parkland Lutheran Youth Society. Her husband also coaches various PLS sports, including soccer, and serves on the PLC Elders Board.
