THE PLS COMMUNICATOR IS YOUR PRIMARY SOURCE OF INFORMATION
We still do not know what fall will look like for PLS. Although we truly want to be able to provide in-person instruction again on campus, we must abide by what public officials tell us what is appropriate and safe. Please know that we will be working with the Washington State Board of Ed & OSPI in order to safely deliver instruction this fall. We will continue to keep you informed throughout the summer months as we get more information and direction from these state officials.

The final report cards for grades 1 thru 8 will be mailed home the week of June 22.
RAFAEL DIEPPA’S RETIREMENT CELEBRATION
This July will mark the end of Mr. Rafael Dieppa’s time at Parkland Lutheran. He started serving Parkland Lutheran in 1999! As a “thank you” to Mr. Rafael for his 21 years of service, we are inviting all of you to attend a special celebration for him on Sunday, July 26, at 11:30am, in the Ark. Everyone is welcome to attend this special event! (Social distancing guidelines at the time of the event will be observed.)
Please help us spread the word about this to any alumni/parents/supporters of Parkland Lutheran! You may direct any questions to the school office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday, August 9, at 10:30am, 8th grade students Anna H., Alyssa S., and America S. will be received into communicant membership through the Rite of Confirmation. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the church Narthex.
Unfortunately, the PLS yearbooks have not yet arrived. Once they have arrived, we will notify parents with details about how to pick-up and/or purchase yearbooks.
PLS 2020/21 REGISTRATION
Haven’t registered for the 2020/21 PLS School Year yet? See below for information about how you can turn in your registration paperwork.
- If you have already filled out the paper packet, sent home with students in January, you can scan the pages (preferably to one PDF document) and then upload it to the school’s Dropbox or email it to email@example.com.
- If you have misplaced your paper packet or would prefer to fill it out electronically, an editable PDF version of the packet has been emailed to all PLS families. (If you would like to have the email resent, please contact the school office.) Once the electronic packet has been filled out, you can upload it to the PLS 2020-21 Registration Dropbox or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
