My fellow redeemed, you have been given such [spiritual] healing. Your booster shots of hearing the Word and receiving of the Sacrament sustain you in this life, where your physical problems and ailments can overwhelm you. In being overwhelmed you at times have sinned, and yet your gracious Lord forgives you and revitalizes your faith in Him. You look upon the grizzly scene of His suffering and death as His greatest act of love for you, knowing He paid the price of those sins and all your sins by the shedding of His holy precious blood. You also confess with Isaiah that by His stripes you have been healed.
