But there is a good kind of jealousy too, the kind that causes one to fight for something – jealousy for a healthy marriage; jealousy for pure doctrine; jealousy for the truth. This is not the way we often think of jealousy, but it is employed in this way in the Bible. God Himself is described in many places as jealous, and we know that He does not and cannot sin. It is true that our God is a jealous God. And this is good news for you and me, because The LORD Is Jealous for You and All Sinners.
