Parkland Lutheran has been a proud member of the Parkland community since the early 1890s. First located near Pacific Lutheran University, it now sits right alongside bustling Pacific Avenue. We are especially noticed for our digital reader board and tall white cross. A peek at our property reveals a series of buildings that especially serve the students of our school.
School for the Community
Many of the grade school members of our church attend our school. But the majority of the students in the school are from families that do not belong to the church. They are looking for a safe campus with high academic standards. They find this and more at Parkland Lutheran School.
Home for Military Families
Parkland Lutheran is located just a short distance from Joint Base Lewis-McChord. We are ready to serve military families that are stationed here only for a short time or long-term. Take a look at our Military page for more details.
Help for the Hurting
Parkland Lutheran is here for those who are hurting. We work with the B.A.S.H. food bank to provide individuals and families with food/supplies. Our pastors are also glad to speak with any who are struggling with issues such as guilt, grief, depression, worry, and anger. They are ready to provide spiritual care by applying God’s Word of encouragement and comfort.
Stop By!
We are thrilled to be a part of this community, and we would love to have you be a part of ours. If you are not ready to knock on our door, consider giving us a call or send an e-mail. You can also find us at the Garfield St. Fair on the third Saturday of August each year.
