All parents who are not members of Parkland Lutheran Church and are also new to the school are expected to attend the “Introduction to Lutheranism” class. In this class you will hear what your children will be taught in their religious instruction and you will have an opportunity to discuss and ask questions. If you cannot make it to the class, please let the office know, perhaps a later offering of this class can be arranged. Pastor Obenberger will teach this class from 6:30–7:30pm on the evenings of Tuesday, October 17 & 24. We will meet in the conference room in the Church. Enter through the breezeway door and go immediately up the stairs. (On November 7th, we will be offering a class called Christianity 101 which goes into more detail regarding the teachings of the Christian faith. It is a fifteen week course from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Some take this class to become members of Parkland Lutheran Church, others take as a refresher course and still others take the class to learn more what Parkland Lutheran Church & School teaches.
