Ms. Owings is a Washington native and an alumna of Parkland Lutheran School, where she attended kindergarten through eighth grade. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Central Washington University and is a Washington State-certified teacher. She taught in the Puyallup School District prior to beginning her service at Parkland Lutheran School in 2026. She also serves on the PLS Booster Board.
